Etsy Integration

The term 'Etsy' is a trademark of Etsy, Inc. This application uses the Etsy API but is not endorsed or certified by Etsy, Inc.

Neirom is an independent product operated by Daniel Cirillo, trading as Neirom. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, partnered with, endorsed or certified by Etsy, Inc. We do not use Etsy's logo, marks or artwork, and we do not present Neirom as an Etsy service or as any form of official review.

Direct Etsy shop connection is not live yet. It requires commercial access approval and API credentials from Etsy, Inc. Until that approval is granted, no Neirom account can connect an Etsy shop, and Neirom holds no Etsy account data of any kind.

Today Neirom analyses listing content you enter or upload yourself, or import by CSV. Nothing is read from Etsy on your behalf.

If and when the integration goes live, Neirom will read Etsy data exclusively through the official Etsy Open API v3, under the Etsy API Terms of Use.

• No scraping, crawling or automated browsing of Etsy web pages
• No use of undocumented or private endpoints
• No sharing or reuse of your Etsy credentials — Neirom never asks for your Etsy password
• No circumventing rate limits, authentication or any other API control
• No resale, redistribution or bulk export of Etsy data to third parties

Connection uses Etsy's OAuth 2.0 authorization-code flow with PKCE. You click Connect Etsy Shop in Neirom, Etsy shows you its own consent screen listing the permissions requested, and you approve or decline there. Etsy then returns you to a Neirom callback URL served over HTTPS.

Neirom uses a single-use, random state value on every authorization request and rejects any callback whose state does not match, to prevent request forgery. Access and refresh tokens are stored server-side, encrypted at rest, scoped to your Neirom account, and never exposed to the browser or to any other user.

You can revoke access at any time — from Neirom, which deletes the stored tokens, or from your Etsy account settings.

Neirom requests the minimum read-only scopes needed for listing risk monitoring, and no more:

• listings_r — read your own listings (titles, descriptions, tags, categories, listing images) so Neirom can analyse them for policy and trademark risk and re-check them on a schedule you choose
• shops_r — read basic information about your own shop so findings can be grouped to the correct shop and shop-level risk can be shown

Neirom does not request write scopes. It cannot create, edit, delete or publish listings, cannot change your shop, cannot access orders, payments, payouts or buyer information, and cannot message anyone on your behalf. Any future scope change would require your explicit re-authorisation through Etsy.

Etsy data retrieved for your account is used only to produce your own risk analysis inside your own Neirom account. It is not sold, not shared with advertisers, and not used to train external AI models.

• Listing text and metadata are cached only so results, evidence and history stay viewable without repeatedly calling the Etsy API
• Listing images follow your image retention setting in Settings (30, 90 or 365 days) and are deleted automatically afterwards
• OAuth tokens are kept only while the connection is active and are deleted immediately when you disconnect
• Disconnecting deletes stored Etsy tokens and stops all further API calls; you can also delete the imported listing data, and deleting your Neirom account removes it entirely
