Refund Policy

How refund requests are made and reviewed.

Last updated 1 September 2026

Neirom is risk intelligence, not legal advice. Neirom helps you spot possible marketplace policy risk before you publish. It does not guarantee compliance with any marketplace's rules or with the law.

1. Asking for a refund

Transactions are generally non-refundable unless a refund is required by applicable law. However, you can always submit a refund request, and every request is reviewed case by case.

You may also have statutory cancellation and refund rights under consumer law in your country. Nothing in this policy limits or removes those mandatory rights.

2. How to request a refund

You can open a refund request from the Billing page in your Neirom account. You will be asked to choose a reason and can add a message explaining what happened. Your request and its status are visible in your account.

Because Paddle is our Merchant of Record, refunds are processed by Paddle. You can also request a refund directly from Paddle at paddle.net, or by replying to the receipt Paddle sent you.

3. What we consider

Each request is reviewed case by case. Common situations where a full or partial refund may be appropriate include:

  • an accidental renewal — you were charged for a new period you did not intend to start
  • a duplicate charge for the same plan
  • a charge that continued after you cancelled, or after you believed the subscription had ended
  • technical problems that prevented you from using the service for the period you were charged for
  • an incorrect or unclear charge, including a price or tax you did not expect

These are examples, not an exhaustive list. Submitting a request does not guarantee a refund, and we may ask for more detail before deciding, except where applicable law requires a refund.

Where a refund is approved, Paddle returns the money to your original payment method. The time it takes to appear depends on your bank or card issuer, and is typically a few business days.

4. What happens to your plan

A full refund of your current period normally ends the subscription and returns your account to the free plan and its allowance. Where a refund is partial, we will tell you what happens to your access.
